Professional Development
A key component of the RPI ASCE mission is to assist our members in their professional development. This goal is achieved through close collaboration with the RPI Center for Career and Professional Development and their Sophomore Career Experience program, as well as providing networking opportunities for our members through our speaker series. Finally, members are often given the opportunity to attend seminars and conferences that will allow them to meet students, professors, and engineers from across the country.
Past Events
RPI ASCE Student Chapter encourages members to attend regional conferences and seminars on various civil engineering topics. This allows students to gain professional contacts and insite into what is going on in the field of civil engineering. Many of these seminars also offer PDHs for professional engineers, which exposes students to one form of continuing education as a professional in the future.
